Lord Starkiller The Force Unleashed USE "Desert Survival"

From my last post i mentioned making another Lord Starkiller in the Desert survival gear costume. The level takes place on Tatooine where he is sent my Darth Sideous to retrieve C-3PO and R2-D2 who have taken the death star plans with them. He kills Jabbas Rancor, kills Boba Fett and kills Obi-Wan Kenobi! awesome level. This mugg was a good challenge and i had it in mind when I made the Dark Lord armour version. I wanted to go into more detail on the cybernetic arm and really give it the mix of Starkiller and Tusken Raider it deserved. I decided to make it with a Holocastor seen at the start of the level when he contacts Sideous for instruction. I made it in a mugg like shape to keep the theme and thought it added a bit more of what goes on into the mugg.

Lord Starkiller The Force Unleashed USE

This is Lord Starkiller from the force unleashed ultimate sith edition game. This follows on from the dark side ending to TFU where Starkiller becomes Vaders replacement with Sidious as his new master. This costume is from the Hoth level where you battle with Luke Skywalker. The costume is supposed to pay homage to Vaders costume and keeping to the original Sith Stalker costume from TFU. I thought this would be a great mugg design to do after already doing a Sith Stalker costume Starkiller as my first mugg. This one was greatly improved in design and craft foam elements made the costumes armour look more "metal" and imposing. I changed the design of the helmet from my original to make it look menacing and more sleek and also put more detail into the metal "claws" on his gloves, I was happy with how it came out but hope to improve it more on my next which will probably be the Tatooine costume which is far more deatiled.

Commander Appo Episode III

This is Commander Appo from episode III. I'm a big fan of clone troopers and thought they looked awesome in this film. I, as many fans of star wars are, a big fan of the 501st legion and think that their armour looks great in this film. I decided to make Appo after i read "Dark lord: The rise of Darth Vader" where he plays a big part as commander of the 501st legion also known as "Vaders fist". He is briefly seen in episode III when Vader leads the assault on the jedi temple. I thought i would add the shoulder pauldron as this was not on him in the film but signifies his leadership as with most clone commanders, captains, etc... I used a blank white mugg which was helpful for the smooth white which is the majority of clone armour. I added battle damage as many clones have on their armour from the many battles of the clone wars. I thought a 501st clone would be a good idea after i recently bought Commander Cody and a Shock Trooper. In terms of symmetry and design that was the hardest aspect as much care was needed on the helmet and torso. I liked doing this one and may do another clone trooper soon.

Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) Episode III

This is a mugg I made back in 2010, Anakin Skywalker from Episode 3. This is one of my favourite characters in the star wars saga and a mugg I really wanted to make. I titled it Darth Vader as he has been given his title and sith eyes complete his look. It was fairly easy to make as most craft foam areas were simple and easy to put on. I changed the look of the design a couple of times on photoshop and eventually got the look I wanted to show his transistion to evil. This was the first mugg I made with the "real" lightsaber hilt and completed the look for me and gave it a more 3D look which was the direction I wanted my muggs to go in, as opposed to the manufactured mugg look.
